RESEARCH: School
Choice and Integration
The
Impact of School Choice on Racial Integration in Milwaukee Private Schools
After religious schools were added to the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program
(MPCP) opponents predicted that racial segregation would increase. This
study shows that four years later religious schools are more racially
integrated than their public school counterpart. --Howard L. Fuller,

Integration
Where It Counts: A Study of Racial Integration in Public and Private
School Lunchroom
This study examines integration at a random sample of public and private
schools in two cities. The findings suggest that private schools tend
to offer a more racially integrated environment than do public schools.
